Father/Son Retreat is the ultimate boys’ weekend, where you can unplug from the screens, get outdoors, and grow together as men. With daily spiritual encouragement and tons of adventure, you will spend quality time together, make memories your son will never forget, and build a legacy of faith for yourself and your family.

Days at Father/Son Retreat are a mix of ridiculously fun activities, spiritual encouragement, and masculine bonding around shared adventures. Morning and evening sessions include biblical, age-appropriate teaching from a featured speaker that opens up real-life conversation about the things that matter most. Between sessions, enjoy classic camp activities like canoeing and archery, quality time around the campfire, and fun dad-and-son activities like fishing, hiking, and some healthy competition.
Every day offers a new opportunity to grow in your relationship with God and each other and impact your son’s future as he grows into the man he is meant to be.
Every detail is taken care of for you, so all you have to do is show up, have fun, and be inspired to become who God has created you to be (shower and shaving optional).
*Off-site rates are available for those who do not want to stay at camp but would like to participate in meals and activities.
Make memories on the shores of Newfound Lake at our beautiful camp and retreat center. Everything you need can be found on-site, and our team is here to serve and pour into you.
Your retreat includes cabin-style accommodations that house up to 12 men and that feature an en suite bathroom. Fathers and sons will stay together in the same cabin and be roomed with other father/son pairs/groups. We also offer private accommodations for those who prefer more personal space. Availability is very limited for private rooms, so we recommend registering early if you want a private room.
If you don’t want to stay on-site, you can buy a retreat-only ticket, where you arrange your own accommodation but have access to all sessions and activities.
Get ready to be treated to delicious meals created by our in-house chefs and served in the communal dining hall. Each morning, you’ll enjoy a breakfast buffet with eggs, proteins, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Lunch consists of family favorites like hamburgers and tacos, and dinner features hot, homemade dishes like roasted chicken and, of course, dessert.
If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, there is a place to share this during the registration process, and we work very hard to accommodate these. Our chefs are all ServSafe certified.

Want to bring a church or family group to Father/Son Retreat? Let us know you’re coming, and we’ll hold your spot and secure block housing for your group. Men from your group will still need to register and pay individually to attend.

Father/Son Retreat takes place in late May/early June of each year and lasts from Friday evening through Sunday morning.
Check-in begins at 6:00pm Friday and the retreat wraps up by 11:00am Sunday.
We welcome children ages five and up to Father/Son Retreat. Programming is designed for fathers and their kids/teens, but fathers and their adult sons are welcome, as are multi-generational groups (grandfather, father, son, etc.). We also offer Man Camp, which is wonderful for fathers and their adult sons.
Most attendees stay in cabins that accommodate up to 12 people. Fathers and sons stay together in the same cabin and are roomed with other father/son pairs/groups. Each attendee is responsible for bringing their own bedding.
We also offer smaller group and private accommodations for those who prefer more personal space. Availability is very limited for private rooms, so we recommend registering early if you want your choice of accommodations.
If you don’t want to stay on-site, we also offer retreat-only tickets, where you arrange your own accommodation.
Yes, if you’re coming with friends or extended family, you can request to be housed with them. We also do our best to host church groups together in the same cabin.
We love church groups of all kinds! If you’d like to bring a group to Father/Son Retreat, fill out this form to let us know you’re coming. We’ll reserve a block of housing for your group. The men in your group will still need to register and pay individually to attend.
